WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
All fields are required.
We generally harvest from farms and houses within a 45 minute drive from downtown Fredericton.
Regardless of whether we harvest from one tree, or a whole orchard, our model remains the same:
1/3 to volunteers
1/3 to the grower
1/3 to local food banks and other charitable organizations
In the event that the grower does not wish to keep their portion, it is donated. If volunteers do not wish to keep their full share the excess is donated as well.
Before a harvest we check with our network of local food banks and charitable organizations to find out who has the capacity to accept food on the day we harvest. The harvest is divided up based on the response.
If you run a charitable organization looking for donations of fresh produce, click here.
Our harvest season generally runs from June-November, but keep watching for our emails throughout the year (you never know!).
Our harvest days and times vary depending on the crop and the availability of our host for each particular crop.
If you can’t make one of our harvests keep checking your email for more dates and times.
Children and youth are welcome to most events unless otherwise stated in the email invitation. It’s a great way to teach them about where their food comes from and about the importance of volunteering. Parents must accept full responsibility for providing close supervision so as to ensure their children’s safety and enjoyment.
When you arrive with your child for the first time you will have to fill out your own liability form and one for them as well.
The address for a glean will be emailed to you after you RSVP. This helps us keep track of how many people are planning to come.
Please email us and let us know so we can let someone else join.
